Love is community in action.
Together we can nurture your connection to self. I believe in the wisdom of the body, and the power of self compassion. In fostering loving curiosity towards our actions and emotions.
I stand with women.
I stand with queer, transgender, non-binary folx.
I stand with black and brown people, indigenous and colonized people, and for those not invited to the tables they built.
I believe in deconstruction, reconstruction, non violence and transformative justice.
I stand with sex workers, the kink community and those practicing celibacy or non sexual intimacy.
I stand with folx who have experienced religious trauma, or seek spiritual reconnection.
I stand with folx uncertain where they stand in this funky ass world.
In my personal journey I am exploring ethical nomadic living. Parenting two sweet cats, and working to strengthen my weak ankles.
About my clinical work:
My job can be to hold hope, to hold space, or to help you hold yourself accountable.
We can unpack / repack / replay and rewrite stuck and hurt narratives, broken family systems, and coping mechanisms that no longer serve us.
We can make space for you to come to terms with all facets of your identity (and there many possible intersections), in your own way, and on your terms.
We can do process work, gently uncovering past and present wounds, giving them voice and presence. At times it can also be a space to just get some shit off your chest.
We can discuss and spend time understanding your different parts, and how those inform your sense of safety and wellness.
We can reflect on the intersection between your life and world, and find ways to cope with the state of things, and the systems which often seek to suppress us.
We can also identify our own shit, and take responsibility for what we have control over, and how to identify when we don’t.
We can shift from should’s, shouldn’ts and must’s into full hearted yes’s, with pleasure and purpose.
